      Matt Villasana, The Librarian

      This year is Matt's sixth at Cedar Ridge and as a Media Specialist. He started his career teaching fourth and fifth grade at Shepard Elementary. After nine years, he moved to a district position as an Instructional Technology Specialist. His elite group was responsible for supporting teachers in their integration of technology to support creative thinking, communication, collaboration, and critical thinking. In his spare time, Matt enjoys playing golf, watching Christmas movies, woodworking, collecting Disney pins, and Ubering his two kids around town to cross country, dance, tennis, track, and softball.

      Lori Huhman, Library Clerk

      After retiring from teaching kindergarten, Ms. Huhman was hired for her dream retirement job, a part-time library clerk at Cedar Ridge.   After teaching at Cedar Ridge for over 30 years, Ms. Huhman knew she still wanted to be a part of the CRE family.  This job allows her to still see and read to the kiddos of Cedar and help in the library.  Ms. Huhman enjoys traveling, reading, walking, watching MU football and loving on her dog, Jax.  Both of her sons, students in the College of Engineering at MU, live at home, with the oldest having moved back over the summer.  She loves having both boys back home!
